自从受疫情的持续影响，各种费用快速暴涨，我公司接到工厂通知，原文如下：

Hi Todd,

I hope you are doing well.

Unfortunately the cost of aluminum is rising out of control.

It’s up 53% from 1 year ago and up 15% in 2021 alone. Below are full aluminum market details.

Our packaging/pallet suppliers released a 25% price increase this week, and we’re incurring increases in various other areas that are out of our control.

This is rapidly creating losses on some of our cylinder shipments, so this week we’ve had to roll out price increases to all customers effective 4/1/2021, to pass through at least a fraction of these rising costs.

Please incorporate the attached price list for all purchase orders issued on 4/1/2021 and thereafter.

We will honor old pricing on all of your PO’s that have been acknowledged/confirmed in our system. Given that we have allocated much of our capacity to medical cylinders for COVID through July, this price increase will not really effect Shanghai Panny Trading for a few months, until April purchase orders are shipped.
